Men on the Move Information Nights a huge success!

August 29, 2014

Meath Local Sports Partnership in association with the HSE organised information nights in Laytown/Bettystown, Dunshaughlin and Kiltale earlier this week to kick start the Men on the Move Project and they proved to be a great success.

Men from the 3 areas came out in huge numbers to sign up for the Men on the Move Programme and to checkout their health.

Men on the Move is aimed at men (aged 30+) in Meath to get them active, have fun and improve fitness levels. You don’t need to be fit to take part- the training sessions are structured so that you can find the level appropriate for you to join and progress your fitness at a pace to suit you.

The Men on the Move Project will now commence with a FREE 6 week physical activity programme in the 3 areas next week:

• Laytown/Bettystown: Monday 1st September at 7.30pm in St. Colmcilles GAA.

• Dunshaughlin: Tuesday 2nd September at 7.30pm in Dunshaughlin Community Centre.

• Kiltale: Wednesday 3rd September at 8:30pm in Kiltale GAA.

Feel free to call in to any of the above venues and see what the activity programme is about or if you want more information about Men on the Move contact Ruairi Murphy, Meath Local Sports Partnership on 046-9067337 or email rmurphy@meathcoco.ie.
