Campioné! Campioné! Olé olé ole…

Huge congratulations to the Kiltale Senior Hurling Team and mentors on winning the Senior Hurling Championship Final.  To all supporters who travelled to Navan and were the 16th Man: well done every one. It was a great day for the parish.

Forthcoming fixtures

  • Saturday 18th October: Division 1A Hurling League Final: Kiltale v Kildalkey – Venue: Trim; throw-in: 3pm
    The very best of luck to the senior hurlers as they go for the double this Saturday. Again, all support welcome!
  • Sunday 26th October:  AIB Leinster Club IHC: Kiltale v Duffry Rovers (Wexford) – venue TBC, throw-in: 2.30pm
    Kiltale begin their quest for provincial and All-Ireland intermediate honours against Wexford’s Duffry Rovers on Sunday week. All support welcome!

Kiltale Camogie News

Kiltale Camogie Club is holding a clothes collection in Kiltale Hall on Saturday October 18th from 10 to 11am and from 4.30 to 6pm. All clothes, shoes, soft toys are accepted and donations are appreciated.

Meath Camogie County Board: ‘Strictly Come Dancing’

Kiltale’s Jack Regan and Taylor Little will participate in this fundraising event in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim on the 14th November, competing for a €1,000 prize. A great night is sure to be had so come along and support our future stars! If anyone is interested in buying tickets please contact the participants.

‘Men on The Move’ 

We will now have two instructors going forward on Block 2, starting on Wednesday October 22 at 8:30pm:

  • 1 x Leader for all Runners and Joggers from Phase x 1
  • 1 x Leader for new team of beginners and Walkers in phase x 2

Don’t forget that all new members – including some guys that didn’t come back at all – are welcome to start again on phase two!

Young at Heart Halloween Party

The annual Halloween Party will take place on Friday 31, Halloween night, in the clubhouse between 7 and 10. Music and light refreshments provided, all welcome to attend!

There are always plenty of events in Kiltale Club House – some of which may interest you or your friends… 

Sunday 2nd November – Sunday evening Old-Time Dancing (Waltz & Jive) – come and enjoy an evening dancing and music!

Saturday 29th November – Kiltale Hurling Club presents a brand new play: “THE CLUBHOUSE”.

It’s a typical Monday night in the clubhouse with real life characters being slightly exaggerated!
FUNNY ~ WITTY ~ ENTERTAINING

Written and directed by Damien Cleer, the event takes place on the 29th November at 8pm sharp and will be followed by music and finger food. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets €10.

Obviously a play requires space and seating so this is a ticket only event. Tickets can be purchased behind the bar or from committee members.

Saturday 6th December – Christmas Party night – contact Eamon Regan at 086 3778478 to book a table. Dinner and entertainment included – menu details and entertainment will be confirmed in the coming days.
