Further good luck to the Moynalvey representatives on the Meath minor football team – Cillian Sullivan and Padraig Harnan – in their Leinster MFC game against Offaly in Tullamore this Sunday.

The Kiltale Hurling Club Annual Golf Classic will take place on Saturday 28th July 2012 in South Meath Golf Club. Information on fees and tee times TBC.

Well done to the Kiltale representatives on the Meath minor hurling team - Jack Regan, Eamon and Kevin Ryan and Chris Reilly - who lost only very narrowly to Offaly in the Leinster Minor Hurling championship last weekend.

A GAA inter-county team open evening will take place on Friday, 11th May 2012 in Páirc Tailteann from 7pm-9pm – offering a chance to meet the players from both the Meath senior football and hurling panels. All supporters and schoolchildren are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided. Wear your club or county colours!

Best of luck, also, to the Meath Senior Camogie team in the Division 2A Camogie League final being played in Navan (2:45pm) on Sunday against Derry – including Kiltale ladies Cheyenne O’Brien and Chloe Pordage O’Halloran. Holly O’Gorman will also play at a under-14s match at half-time.

The second half much the same with both sides making substitutions to try and open up the game. A goal miss by J Donoghue from a pass from Durnin would have levelled the match but Kilmessan held firm winning by 3 points. The scores in the second half were a point from play by Mark O’Sullivan, and 3 frees from Jack Regan.

Club Adult Presentation Night
Congrats to all who received awards last Saturday. Senior player of the year: Stephen Donoghue. Young hurler of the year: James Kelly. Clubperson of the year: Paddy Durnin. Also honoured was Shane McGann, who received a Christy Ring All-Star award, and Cathal McCabe, Jack Regan, Cillian O’Sullivan and James Kelly who were part of Meath’s All-Ireland Winning Minor B team.

Thank you to all that attended the recently held Juvenile Presentation night and made it so successful. Congratulations to the U16 and U14 hurling teams and Mentors on there great achievements during 2011 and the best of luck in 2012. Medals were presented to both teams by Richie Hogan, of the Kilkenny All-Ireland winning team.
