Under-8s hurling training

Under-8s training has moved from Summerhill Community Centre to Kiltale pitch, starting Friday 3 May at 6:30pm, and will be at the pitch every Friday for the immediate future. The trainers for 2013 are Tossie Byrne (087 7768666), Paul Horgan and Paul Regan.

Lord Mayor Competition

The final event in the Lord Mayor Competition is Noel Regan’s

• Vintage Car Run on Sunday 26 May. Assemble in Kiltale clubhouse at 11am. Cars will depart around 11.15am and return at 2pm for refreshments and music. €10 per person.

We will be announcing the winner of the Lord Mayor competition on Sunday 2nd June. All support welcome. We would like to thank all that supported the various fundraising events for the club.

A date for your diary! Kiltale Hurling Club’s annual golf classic will be held at South Meath Golf Club on June 29. The Gathering

Kiltale Hurling Club is hoping to participate in ‘The Gathering’ over the August Bank Holiday weekend. This will consist of the Gathering of classes from Kiltale NS for the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. More detail later.

The best of luck to the Kiltale players – Stephen Donoghue (captain), Shane McGann, Willie Mahady, Peter Durnin, Mark O’Sullivan and James Kelly – who will be on the Meath panel in this Sunday’s National Hurling League Division 2B final against London. Throw-in at Newbridge is at 1pm and all support is welcome!
